Field Trip to Frankenmuth

The Adult ED staff took a group of students on a field trip to Frankenmuth in January. It was the first time any of the students had experienced the German Culture of Little Bavaria. While sightseeing, the group observed examples of unique architecture, attire, and foods that are popular in the German culture of Frankenmuth. Students witnessed the creation of freshly made fudge and sampled the fudge. They also observed the creation of snow and ice sculptures, as well as visiting the Michigan Hero's Museum. All these opportunities are located just 20 minutes north of Flint.
